Joyce Irene Grasse 1927-2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Irene Grasse of Geary, NB, on January 11, 2013 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on March 3, 1927 in Geary, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Muriel (MacMillan) Carr. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years Carl; 5 daughters Muriel Boone, Charlene Corkum (Andrew), Juanita Desmond (Richard), Wilma Grasse, and Esther Cote (Doug); 2 sisters Kathleen Boone and Mavis Brochu; a brother Lawrence (Elva) Carr; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Lloyd Carr and a grandson Guy Lemoine. Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Saturday January 12, 2013 from 7-9 PM and Sunday January 13, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will held from the Geary United Pentecostal Church on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2 PM, with Rev. Mark Noel officiating assisted by Rev. Bob Foster. Interment will take place at a later date. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately following the service. Pallbearers are Derrick Boone, Carl Boone, Leo Lemoine, Anthony Corkum (all grandsons), Douglas Cote and Fred Tracy. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
