KEARNEY Josephine M. Cavallaro Kearney, 87, peacefully entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2011, at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven. She was the loving wife of the late Bernard Cavallaro and Donald Kearney. Mrs. Kearney was born in Ansonia on December 7, 1923, daughter of the late Anthony and Carmelina Aresco Pagliaro. A resident of Derby and Ansonia her entire life, she was employed at the former H.C. Cook Co. in Ansonia and former B.F. Goodrich in Shelton until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia and a former member of its choir. Josephine was also a member of the St. Sebastian Ladies Society and the Ansonia and Seymour Senior Centers. She is survived by a loving son, James Cavallaro of Waterbury, two loving daughters, Sandra Kleemola (William) and Camille Cavallaro of West Haven, five cherished grandchildren, Kevin Cavallaro, Lauri Kleemola, Sara Kleemola, Michael Cavallaro, and Rachael Cavallaro, a sister, Mary Aquila (Salvatore) of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Bernard Cavallaro and sisters, Rose Tuccio and Mini Volduro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday November 18, 2011, at 8:15 am from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. Visiting hours will be held on THURSDAY from 4-7 pm.
