Josephine Ferreira 1929 - 2012 HOLYOKE - Josephine Ferreira, age 83, of Holyoke, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her home. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Calogero and Carmela (Pasqualetto) Giambusso and was a graduate of East Boston High School. Jo was a retired Department Manager at K-Mart in Riverside CA and a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Ferreira and children: Mark and Maureen Ferreira of Chicopee, Peter and Patricia Ferreira of Holyoke, Brian and Martha Ferreira of Marlton NJ, Ann and Joseph Sugrue of Springfield, Jeffrey and Laurie Ferreira of Longmeadow, Paul and Adelle Ferreira of Greenfield, Jacki and Ken McCray of Riverside CA, Joanne Intorre of Riverside CA, Steven Allaire and Kelly Irvine of Ontario, CA, Patricia and Charles Kidder of San Antonio TX, James Allaire and Jessica Carranza of Cedaredge CO, 29 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her siblings: Sal Giambusso of Alta Loma CA, Eleanor and Frank Dunn of Beaverton OR, and Frank Giambusso of Natick, MA. Besides her parents, Jo was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Allaire, two brothers: John and Charles Giambusso and a sister, Sara DiSisto. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:30 pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, with a prayer service held at 6:30 pm. Burial will be in the Riverside National Veterans Cemetery in Riverside CA.
