He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Italian Circle, Wayne Elks Lodge No. 2181 and a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock. Beloved husband of the late Caroline Cappello (nee Mazzocchia). Devoted father of Helene Cappello. Dear brother of the late Rose Zawonski, Jennie Falconeri and Josephine DeHaas.
