Avis de décès de Joseph Jennings

Joseph A Jennings, a longtime Larchmont resident, died peacefully on February 4, 2010. He was born in 1925 to Joseph and Gertrude Walker Jennings. Joe was raised in the Bronx and graduated from Fordham Preparatory School in 1944. He served in the US Navy in World War II. Upon his return from the war Joe graduated from Manhattan College and Fordham Law School. He joined C.F. Childs and Company and became a partner. He joined Eastman Dillon Union Securities and was made partner in 1966. He worked for RMJ Securities for several years and he joined Bear Stearns and Co in 1976 as a limited partner. Joe remained with Bear Stearns in a successful fixed income securities career until his retirement in 1999. Joe is survived by two children, Michael (Debbi) of Larchmont, NY and Anthony (Dawn) and three grandchildren Charlotte, Claudia and Sydney. Joe is also survived by his sister, Gertrude Jennings Gunset of Manhattan NY and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Jennings was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Helen Jennings and his daughter, Ellen Jennings. Joe was a parishioner of Sts. John and Paul Church and a member of Winged Foot Golf Club and served as Club Secretary for several years. A wake will be held at Fox Funeral Home on Sunday Feb 7, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be held at Sts. John & Paul Church, 280 Weaver Street, Larchmont on Monday, February 8th at 10:00 A.M. John J.
