Joseph J. Gaultier EASTON Joseph J. Joe Gaultier, 52, a lifelong resident of Easton, died unexpectedly, Thursday evening, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was the husband of Barbara (Perry) Gaultier for 24 years. Born in Brockton, Jan. 3, 1957, a son of Babe A. Russo of Easton and the late Joseph J. Gaultier, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. A self-employed mechanic and used car dealer, Joe was the proprietor of Highway Motors located on Rte. 138 in Easton. Joe was a notary public who enjoyed working with his two sons at his car dealership. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 238, in Easton. In addition to his wife Barbara and his mother, he is survived by two sons, Nicholas Gaultier of Easton and Anthony Gaultier of Easton; a brother, Derek Gaultier of Easton; his longtime mascot, Shelby; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St. (Rte.138), Easton, Monday, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 10 a.m. Interment in South Easton Cemetery, Easton. Visiting hours Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joes memory may be sent to the Joseph Gaultier Scholarship Fund, c/o North Easton Savings Bank, 295 Main St., Easton, MA. 02356.
