PACHECO Jose Francisco passed away suddenly at home on May 28, 2002 . Born on October 9, 1938 in Ponta Garca, Sao Miguel, Azores. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Hedviges; children, Gorette (Louie) Ribeiro, Joe (Cynthia) and Wendy (Marcelo) Lazaro; grandchildren, Hilary and Matthew, Samuel and Talon, Ivonette and Ashley; two sisters and two brothers and their families. Jose worked for the City of Victoria for 21 years. Although he was a hard working man, Jose also enjoyed socializing with his friends over morning coffee. Jose loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 4049 Gordon Head Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Father Rolf Hasenack celebrant. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
