JOHN D. HARTIGAN, 74 Truck Driver WESCOSVILLE, PA. - John D. Hartigan, 74, of Wescosville, PA., formerly of Lake Hamilton, died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his home from cancer. He was husband of Carol J. (Nagle) Hartigan, to whom he was married 27 years last December. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John D. Jr. and Marie (Schmalzl) Hartigan. Before retiring in 1989, he was a truck driver for Teamsters Local #773, and retired from a 20 year military career, serving in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he received a purple heart metal and also served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Winter Haven. Also in Winter Haven, FL, he was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus member of Assembly #2608 and past Grand Knight of Council #7091. He was a member of the former Lake Hamilton Volunteer Fire Dept. Survivors: Wife, Daughter, Connie L., wife of Dr. George A. Zeo of Quakertown, 3 Step-daughters, 3 Granddaughters, Great-granddaughter, Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sisters. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM, Thurs., February 8th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexor Ave., Allentown. Calling Wed., 7-8:30 PM at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown, and Thursday, 10:30-11:00 AM at the church.
