John D. Gaffney Sackets Harbor John D. Gaffney, 73, Main Street, Sackets Harbor, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at home with his family, while under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County. Mr. Gaffney graduated from Utica Free Academy in 1958. He married Marcia A. Woodward on May 18, 1968, at Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica, NY. He is survived by his wife; children, Karin Christensen, Michelle (Shelly) Cook and Timothy; and seven grandchildren He was predeceased by three brothers, William, P. Richard and Michael. Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sackets Harbor.
