FAHEY, John C. Peacefully passed away on February 20, 2004, at home, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Susan (1990). Loving father of Brian and Sarah of North York, Philip and Penny of Harrow, R. John and Martha of Windsor, Michael of Vancouver B.C., and Susan of Windsor. Loving grandfather of Sean, Paul, Amanda, and Johnny. Beloved brother-in-law of Lena Fahey and Elsie Petrie. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers William and James, and sisters Bridget, Theresa, and Harriet. John was a retired professional engineer and an electrical contractor. He was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University in N.S. and Technical University of Nova Scotia. Proud member of I.B.E.W. Local #773. Dad enjoyed a close friendship with a number of his caregivers, and especially valued his friend-ships with Carol Tedesco and Ahmed Al-Yousufi. Visiting will be held at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. E., on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Visiting will continue on Wednesday, February 25, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Joe Gosselin officiating. Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In kindness, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Charity of Your Choice would sincerely be appreciated by the family.
