Joao Pacheco Ferreira November 13, 1943 - March 05, 2006 Peacefully at McMaster University Medical Centre on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at the age of 62. Son of the late Jo ao and the late Rosa Ferreira and son-in-law of the late Francisco and Elvira Vitoria. Beloved husband of Maria Natalia. Cherished father of Susan and her husband Renato Serro, and Richard. "Vuvu" will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Emilie. Dear brother of Teresa Parreira and her husband Antonio. Dear brother-in-law of Frank Vitoria and his wife Elsa. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Elvira, Nivia and her late husband Jo ao. Remembered by his nephews Tony (Zebie), Charles, Francisco, nieces Diana (Enzo), Yvonne (Geoff), Marta (Jo ao) and Marcia (Manuel). The family would like to thank the nurses of St. Joseph's Homecare and the ICU nurses at McMaster for their special care and compassion. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street), Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
