Joanne M. JohnsonQuincy Joanne M. (Barnes) Johnson, age 75, of Quincy, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at home after a long illness. She was born in Newton, raised and educated in Cambridge schools and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. She was also a graduate of the Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and has lived in Quincy for fifty years. She was a volunteer at the Milton Hospital for many years. Beloved wife for forty-five years of Paul G. Johnson, Captain, Q.F.D., Retired. Devoted mother of Brian P. Johnson, Kevin G. Johnson, Barry M. Johnson, Karen M. Conneely and her husband Micheal (please note that is the correct spelling) all of Quincy. Loving Grandmother of Andrew, Joseph and Seamus. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Monday, December 31st at 8:15AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Anns Church, 757 Hancock St., Quincy at 9 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Sunday 2 6 PM.
