KIRKEY, Jerome Wilbert The family announces with sorrow, his passing, Monday evening, December 20, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, (St. Joseph's Health Centre Site), in his 71st year. Dear son of Pat and Florence Kirkey, both predeceased. Beloved husband of Frances, predeceased in 1999. Dear father of Jerry Bowes of Toronto, Judy Bowes of Tennessee, U.S.A., Jasmine Hailey of British Columbia, Timothy Bowes of Timmins and Patricia Bowes of Toronto. Dear step-father of David Taylor of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Shawna Stairs, Bradley Bowes, Joey Bowes and Michael Taylor. Dear brother of Ina Lamoureux, Charlie (wife Betty), Romeo (wife Helen), Alvy (wife Doris), Lorene Farr (husband Nelson), Louise Robinson (husband Barry), Perry (wife Linda) and Raymond (wife Lilianne). Predeceased by his brother, Omer. Jerome was a mechanic with Falconbridge Nickel Mines, retiring several years ago. He enjoyed telling jokes, playing his guitar, associating with his friends at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chelmsford. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 553 Chelmsford. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. The family extends their appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff at the St. Joseph Health Centre, 4th floor, 4BC wings for their kind and compassionate care given to Jerome. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Thursday from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Chelmsford.
