FRIDAY, MRS. JEANNE ROSALIE (Wife of Joseph) -- Muskegon Mrs. Jeanne Rosalie Friday, age 82, passed away Saturday, April 2, at a local nursing home. She was born August 31, 1922, in Muskegon to Peter and Rosamond (Lessard) Faucher. Jeanne was a switchboard operator at Mercy Hospital and later on at Heritage Hospital. She was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and most recently Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Jeanne loved to bake, enjoyed traveling, and was a very good listener. On January 24, 1974, she married Joseph B. Friday in Muskegon, and he survives her. Jeanne was a wonderful mother to her children and a wonderful wife to her husband Joe. Along with her husband, Jeanne is SURVIVED by her 4 children; Pete (Bobbie) Hinkley of Muskegon, Carol (Joe) Lenius of Ludington, Pamela (Patrick) Powers of Ludington, and Patricia (Joseph) Episcopo of Tampa, FL; 7 step children, Ronald (Barbara) Friday, Lawrence (Rita) Friday, Thomas (Patricia) Friday, Richard (Nancy) Friday, Cheryl (Terry) Sladick, Patricia (Michael) Bray, and Michael Friday, all of Muskegon; grandchildren Patrick Hinkley, Erik (Debbie) Hinkley, Elizabeth Hinkley, Kristen (Richard) Matteucci, Kimberly (Steve) McAleer, Karen (Ryan) Dumas, Kelly Lenius, Shannon Powers, Paul Powers, Allison Episcopo, Adam Episcopo, Daniel (Alicia) Friday, Amy (Dirk) Boonstra, Pamela Friday, Patricia Friday, Thomas Friday Jr., Julie (Jonathon) Stapleton, Katie (Michael) Johnson, Shane (Angela) Hagen, Marrissa Friday, Teanna Friday, Steven Friday, Annika Friday, Kimberly (Robert) Koth, Neil Sladick, Chad Sladick, Pamela Sladick, Jennifer Heycoup, Michelle (Ken) VanHall, and Brianna Friday; 6 great grandchildren; a sister Donna (Michael) Ladd of Muskegon; a sister-in-law, Lornella Faucher of Muskegon; Jeanne was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Thomas and Richard Faucher; 2 grandchildren, Michelle Bray and Michael Bray Jr., and a great granddaughter, Addison Jo McAleer. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be Thursday, April 7, 2005, 11AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Michael Olson, Father Jack LaGoe, and Father Phil Sliwinski as co-celebrants. VISITATION will be Wednesday, from 4-8 PM at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231 759 8565 with the ROSARY being prayed at 6PM. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Entombment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
