THOMSON _ Jean Helen Jean Helen Thomson passed away peacefully after a short struggle with cancer on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the age of 83. Survived by her loving husband Melvin Lake Thomson of sixty years; two daughters, Doreen Thomson of Calgary, Lois Thomson-Bowersock (Bruce Bowersock) of The Woodlands, Texas; four grandchildren, Colin, Ian, Jo-Lynn and Michael; and eight great-grandchildren. At Jean's request there was no Service, however a gathering of her friends in celebration of her life was held on July 15 at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club.
