Sargent.Mrs. Sargent was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.She is survived by a son, William H. (Billy) Sargent of Greenville; two brothers, Mahlon and Gerald Waters; and a sister, Mary Burgess. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty McAbee and a brother, David Waters.Memorials may be made to Lutheran Hospice, 218A Trade Street, Greer, SC 29651.The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
