PEARSON, Jean Ellen (Rowledge)Jean went home to the arms of her Lord on October 22, 2013 after succumbing to prolonged illness at the age of 86.She is survived by Don, her loving husband of 58 years, who was by her side; son Jim; daughter Marie (Tom) and grandchildren Christy (Nick), Lisa (Alec) and Graham. She is also survived by brothers Jim (Jean), Bob (Dorothy) and Russ (Dodie).Her servant heart, loving nature and ready smile will be missed by all who knew her.All the family would like to thank Janet McDonald who was Jean's longtime friend for all her support, shuttle service and coffees at Tim Horton's, as well as Dr. Kavanaugh and the caregivers at South Terrace for their loving care.A time of viewing will be held Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 - 91 Street in Edmonton. A private interment ceremony will be held October 28, 2013 at the Nashville Cemetery southeast of Wetaskiwin.A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 13407 - 97 Street in Edmonton.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or Parkinson's Society of Edmonton.
