SAWYER, Jean Florence Jean passed away at the age of 94, February 3, 2015 in the Kelowna Hospice, surrounded by family. Jean's many passions were family, sports, and volunteer driving for the Calgary Cancer Clinic. She is survived by loving family, son Don Sawyer (Reta Jackson), and her daughter Allison Sawyer (Howie Hewgill), her grandchildren, Copper Dawn Sawyer (Rod Williams) and Chris Sawyer (Michelle) and her great-grandchildren, Jade Williams and Ava Jean and Jack Sawyer. Jean was predeceased by her son, Bob, her parents and nine brothers and sisters. Jean has requested a small graveside service in Lumsden, Saskatchewan in the summer of 2015. The family wishes to thank the nurses, care aids and staff at Joseph Benjamin and the Kelowna Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
