Jean F. (Hastings) Myette, age 84, of Hanover, died June 25 after a long illness. Jean and her late husband Ray were the previous owners of Safford Market in Quincy, Rays Market in Dorchester, Ashmont Creamery in Dorchester and Myettes Country Store in Hanover and Abington. She enjoyed traveling, going to Foxwoods but especially her time spent with family. Born and raised in Boston, Jean was the daughter of the late John J. and Josephine (Carr) Hastings. She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond G. Myette who died in 2009. Loving mother of Glenn Myette of Hanover, Gary Myette of Duxbury and Lindy Worrall of Plymouth. Special grandmother of Jason Myette, Tracy Brown, Josh Worrall, Adam Worrall, Erin Myette, Cameron Myette, Rachel Myette and Austin Myette and special great-grandmother of Sam Worrall, Ashlynn Worrall, Cory Worrall, Lacy Worrall, Riley Worrall, Cecelia Myette, Benjamin Myette and Sebastian Myette Brown. She is also survived by her brother Paul Hastings of TX and was predeceased by her sister Elinor Pujalte and her brother John Donald Hastings. Her best friend was the late Betty Veno. Visiting hours were in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in Hanover on Friday, June 29 from 4 - 7 p.m.. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 30 at 9 a.m. in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139, in Hanover. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
