PATTERSON, Jean A. - Peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2004 at home in her 75th year. Loving wife of Captain James Patterson for 42 years until his death in 1996. Much loved mother of Anne and her husband Kent Brown. Nans to Kristin and Alex Brown. Sister of the late Bill Miller and Betty Elliott. Dear friend of Bob Ward. Member of Eastern Star and St. Andrews United Church. Jean was a resident of Port Dalhousie for over 43 years, keeping Ship over winter when Port was the Welland Canal. She will be remembered as a loving, giving person always willing to do for others. Jean was blessed with deep beautiful life long friendships both here and in Sault Ste. Marie and will be missed by friends and family. Jean is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. A service to celebrate Jean's life will take place in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
