LaBROSSE, Janet Anne (nee Johnston) - It is with overwhelming sadness the family announces the untimely passing of Janet on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the age of 61. She passed surrounded by her family at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, Ontario. Janet was the loving wife of 30 years and best friend of Don LaBrosse. A devoted mother and friend to daughters Tammy Farrell (Pat) and Danielle LaBrosse-Robinson (Chris); grandmother to beautiful Hannah LaBrosse-Robinson, the light of her life. Janet was also a devoted owner of her beloved pets Abby, Sophie, Herkie and Sniffers, who are missing her terribly. She was the best sister in the world to Lesley (Frank) Hilder and godmother to niece Stacey. Predeceased by parents Sheila Johnston (February 2009) and Leslie Johnston (July 2006). Janet was a retired employee of Goodyear Canada Inc. and Hockley Valley Resort. To all, she was a true and valued friend who would make you laugh even when you didn't want to. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU at Headwaters Health Care Centre for their wonderful care. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at the DODS & McNAIR FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 21 First Street, Orangeville with a reception immediately following.
