Sgt. 1st Class James William "Sarge" Jordan, 81, U.S. Army retired, husband of Polina Alexandria Nehramotnova Jordan, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002. Surviving are his wife of the home; three sons, James D. Jordan, Ronald W. Jordan and Steven M. Jordan, all of Pelzer; sisters, Judy Shaw of Pelzer, Carolyn Matthews of Williamston; brothers, George Jordan, Donnie Jordan of Pelzer; and grandchildren, Jason Jordan, Kevin Jordan and Melanie Jordan. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday at Gray Mortuary Chapel with the Revs. Donnie Bell and Claude Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home and will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted and memorials to the West Pelzer Church of God of Prophecy, 5 Main St., West Pelzer, SC 29669.
