OBITUARY JAMES WILLIAM BALDWIN September 1, 1927 - February 18, 2010 Dad was a devoted husband to Norma (nee Beggs) (deceased), loving father to Julianne, Joan, Bruce (Gladys) and Norah (Faroukh) and proud grandfather of Leia, Benjamin, Alec, Emma and Evan. Dad was a quiet, gentle and spiritual man. An accomplished musician of piano and organ. A devoted owner to his 5 miniature schnauzers. A loyal and steadfast friend of many. Dad would often answer the phone with a cheery: "I know you!". Both Dad and Mom were alumni of the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon where they met and fell in love. Dad was also an alumnus of Queen's University. Dad's career began as a Flight Lieutenant in the Intelligence Branch of the R.C.A.F. and from there he enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with Imperial Tobacco and associated companies (IMASCO). His international travels allowed him to bring home fascinating tales of foreign countries and a playful knowledge of several languages. Our sincere thanks to everyone at Sunrise Beaconsfield for your gentle care and support throughout Dad's stay with you. Also many thanks to the Comfort Keepers and Health Access caregivers. Dad, you and Mom are together now, and what a joyous reunion that must be. We'll love and miss you both - always. To Dad and Mom: You left us quietly, Your thoughts unknown. But you've left us all memories We're so proud to own. Treasure them, Lord As with You they rest, For when they were with us Mom and Dad were the best. According to Dad's wishes, there will be a private family celebration of their lives. Dad and Mom are resting at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 701 av. Donegani in Pointe Claire.
