GORDO James Stillman Fair, age 77, of Gordo, died March 26, 2006 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. today, March 28, 2006, at Hargrove United Methodist Church with Rev. David Allison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.His parents, his infant daughter, Patsy Ann Fair, and his sister, Annie L. Fair, preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Sue Harless Fair of Gordo, Ala.; daughters, Donna Rushing (Phillip) of Belk, Ala.; and Shelia Duncan (Gary) of Homewood, Ala.; son, Philip Fair of Reform, Ala.; brother, John C. Fair (Margaret) of Gordo, Ala.; grandchildren, Randy Duncan and Shannan Duncan, both of Homewood, Ala.Mr. Fair was born February 28, 1929 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Jim and Martha Ann Barrett Fair. He was a member of Hannah United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Bryce Hospital, a U.S. Army veteran and life long resident of Pickens County. He was a very quiet, gentle and humble man who believed in the Methodist faith.Pallbearers will be Jerry Lowe, Keith Fair, Jimbo Fair, Jerry Wilson, Derrick Black, Douglas Harless, Dale Baines and Ricky Parham.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to American Diabetes Association, 200 Office Park Drive, Suite 303, Birmingham, AL 35223 or American Heart Association, Southeast Affiliate, P.O.
