WILLIAMS, James (Jay) Raymond November 24, 1985 January 3, 2010 A loving and generous soul left this world January 3rd for a kinder and gentler place. Jay passed away at home after a lifelong battle with heart disease. Jay was passionate about riding the BC Transit buses and was a familiar face to many of the drivers. He loved his family and was always the fIrst to organize birthday parties and special gatherings. Left to mourn him are his parents, Linda and Willy Burrows, Deanna Amos and Bill Williams. He also leaves his grandparents, Doreen, Norman and Audrey and his brothers and sisters, Kate (Paul), Anne, Kristen, Jon, Melissa and Harry and his friend Johnny. Jay had a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins who will also miss him. We would like to thank everyone involved in helping Jay over the years, especially Dr. Steve Keeler, Christine Gotzman, the Quick Response Team, Beacon Services, and the BC Ambulance Service. A celebration of Jay's life will be held Thursday January 7th at 2pm at the Church of the Advent, 510 Mt. View Road (off Sooke Road). Please come dressed in casual, comfortable and bright clothes. No flowers please. If you desire, a donation can be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, BC Children's Hospital or Community Living BC in his name. 573975
