James Arnez Patterson, 46, of 127 Sycamore Drive, and husband of the late Renee Patterson, died suddenly on July 28, 2007.Mr. Patterson was born in Greenville, a son of the late Calvin and Dorothy Patterson and was employed with A&A Fire Protection.Surviving are three children, Heather Holcombe of Pelzer, Tralane Burdette of Marietta, and Steven Patterson of Greenville; seven grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Robert Waldrop of Townville, Terry Patterson of Greenville, Billy Patterson of Greenville, Edna Massengil of Slabtown, and Chip Nalley of Townville. Predeceased was a brother, Tommy Patterson.A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today, July 31, 2007, at Hilltop Freewill Baptist Church, Travelers Rest.Cremation Society of South Carolina is serving the Patterson family.
