O'NEILL, JAMES P., of Winter Haven died of respiratory failure on 25 April, 2004. Born Aug. 15th 1926 in St. Louis, MO. He moved to Central Florida in 1971 from St. Clair, MI. He was a retired self employed Sales Executive. He was a World War II veteran who served in the United States Coast Guard in the Pacific Theater. Mr. O'Neill was preceded in death by his wife Margaret O'Neill, daughter Eileen Hahn, grandson Mac Quilty of Orlando, and brothers, F. Roger O'Neill, John L. O'Neill, and Donald O'Neill, all of St. Louis, MO. He is survived by daughter Margaret (Michael) Quilty, Maureen (David) Ruff, Colleen O'Neill, sons Michael O'Neill and James (Terri) O'Neill, 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Mr. O'Neill was a member of American Legion Post 8, Elks Lodge #1672, Winter Haven and Moose Lodge #1023. A memorial mass will be at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Winter Haven at 12:30PM on Saturday, 1 May 2004. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Elks Lodge #1672, Ave. B, Winter Haven, Florida.
