He worked 27 years with Singer in Pickens. He also was a faithful and active member of Secona Baptist Church having served as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.He was a loving husband to the late Lora Mae Pace Patterson; devoted father to his children, Donnie Patterson (Linda) of Pickens, Ken Patterson of Cornelius, NC, the late Sybil P. Holliday, and the late Reba P. Gillespie; an adoring grandfather to seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and a loving brother to his sister, Essie Mae Jones of Pickens.In addition to his parents, wife, and two daughters, he was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.A service to celebrate Mr. Patterson's life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Secona Baptist Church.
