James Keays James (Jim) Keays, 73, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of MacBeath Ave., Moncton, passed away at his residence on Monday, March 15, 2004. Born in Campbellton, son of the late James and Hazel (Kerr) Keays. Jim was a retired Manager with Royal Bank of Canada with 41 years service, attended Mountain View United Church, Past Master of Tweedie Lodge #41 F & AM, member of Luxor Shriners, Saint John and the Moncton Shrine Club, Life member and Past President of the Moncton Lions Club, Life member of the Manchester Lawn Bowling Club, Past President of the Navy League of Canada (N.B. Division), one of the founding members of the ALS Society of NB, Past President of the Moncton Minor Baseball Association and Riverview Minor Hockey Association, Past Director of the Moncton Midget Flyers and former Advisory Board Member of the A.H.L., New Brunswick Hawks, also a member of U.C.T. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife Lois Keays; daughters, Patti Delahunt (Terry) Dartmouth, Laura Keays, Moncton; son, Jamie (Cathy), Miramichi City; grandchildren, Katelyn, Lauren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Helen, Aneta, Jennie; brother, Austin. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Wednesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Acacia Lodge #49 F & AM memorial service 6:45pm Wednesday. Funeral Service at Mountain View United Church, Thursday, March 18, 2004, 2pm. Rev. Mary Anningson officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview.
