Avis de décès de James Coughlin


Mr. James Francis Age 84, of Suwanee, GA, formerly of Elmira, NY, died Saturday, June 10, 2006. Mr. Coughlin was a graduate of St. Mary's College. A decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Coughlin served in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. He participated in the battles at Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal and was wounded and received a Purple Heart in the battle at Guam. Mr. Coughlin later retired as president of Murray Ohio Mfg. Company in Brentwood, TN, after a 35-year career. He is survived by his daughter, Chris C. Hills of Nashville, TN; his sons, James F. Coughlin, II of Duluth, GA, Stephen M. Coughlin of Longwood, FL, and Sean B. Coughlin of Duluth; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedicts Catholic Church, with Fr. Paul Flood officiating. Inurnment with full Military Honors will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Memorial tributes may be posted to Mr. Coughlin and his family by visiting www.mem.com. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN. Arrangements by H.M.
