WADSWORTH James C. Wadsworth, Sr., died on August 13, 2003 at the age of 71. He was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, and was a WWII veteran. He was preceded by his wife, Jane Elaine Collett Wadsworth. He is survived by his children Teresa Bryan (Gary), James C. Wadsworth, Jr., Debbie Smith, Charles Sheer Wadsworth IV (Melodie), Ann Marie Wadsworth. He has seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. He had extensive background in commercial and industrial mechanical and electrical engineering. He was project manager for many construction projects such as the Prime Osborn Convention Center, Hospital at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, Nasa Anti-Noise Chamber Facility, and various missile sites for Nasa. He had extensive experience in construction for the US Navy and the Corps of Engineers with state and local government agencies. He constructed a HydroElectric Dam, Marine Construction, Sandlewood High School and many other structures and buildings. Family will receive visitors at his Palm Valley home on August 17, 2003 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
