James "Jay" Bodnar, 47, of Old Bridge, N.J., formerly of Clark, N.J., passed away suddenly on Dec. 26, 2012. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Rt. 516 (Old Bridge Matawan Rd), Old Bridge. Jay was a loving uncle, and enjoyed cooking and animals, especially his black labs. He is survived by his parents, John and Barbara Bodnar of Monroe Township, N.J.; his brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Karen Bodnar and Glenn and Suzanne Bodnar; his loving nieces and nephews, John W., Jacqueline, Mollie, Cooper, Harrison, and his beloved black lab, Merlin.
