JORDAN, James B. "Jimmy," 75, passed away November 17, 2004, after battling cancer. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his two sons, Clyde of Land O' Lakes and John of Tallahassee; his daughter, Debbie Dunsmoor of Tallahassee; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Jimmy was born in Miami and served as a Merchant Seaman during World War II. He enjoyed a successful career as the deputy director of the Division of Law Enforcement for the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission, now known as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Following his retirement in 1983, Jimmy owned and operated his own business as a contractor in Alligator Point, Fla., where he had been a longtime resident. He and Barbara have resided in Land O' Lakes for the past five years. Throughout his life, Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing and the company of family and friends. Jimmy's family would like to thank the Hernando-Pasco Hospice staff for their care and support throughout his illness. A mem orial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, November 28, 2004, at Mission By the Sea in Alligator Point. Jimmy is loved and will be missed.
