RENAUD Jacques Etienne 1926-2003 Jacques Etienne Renaud, beloved husband of Blanca Renaud of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the age of 76 years. Born in Montreal, Quebec on September 10, 1926, Jacques attended the University of Montreal, obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Geology in 1947. In 1950, he moved to Calgary. Jacques was actively involved in the oil industry, working for Gulf Oil initially and later as a valued consultant for over fifty years. He was a member of the Glencoe Club where he competed in swimming, winning many trophies for his excellence. Jacques and Bianca were married in 1975. Besides his loving wife, Jacques is remembered by his children, Carole Savoir of Texas, and Janet Renaud, Paul Renaud and Lisa Renaud, all of B.C.; as well as grandchildren, Anthony and Benjamin Savoir, Aaron Renaud and Kelly Renaud. He is also survived by his brother Maurice (Yolande) Renaud; and sisters, Jacqueline (Guy) Valiquette, Marthe (Pierre) Depocas and Paulette Giraud. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Yvette Renaud.
