WILLIAMS Jacqueline Anne (Smith) Williams a native of Bridgeport, was born to Anna and Tracy O. Smith on November 4, 1931. She grew up in the South-End of Bridgeport with her older brother Tracy L. Smith. A graduate from Bassick High School, she went on to graduate from the University of Bridgeport as a Registered Nurse. Servicing patients at St. Vincent's Hospital, and our community, Jackie provided health care for many. A lifelong member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, with countless relatives and friends. Jackie departed on March 13, 2011. Jackie leaves behind her brother, Tracy L. Smith; ex-husband, John B. Garris; children, Janet Garris, Pamela Garris and John Garris; step-daughter, Marlo Garris; sisters-in-law, Catherine Garris and Ruth Smith; grandchildren, Deja Cauthen, Brock Washington, Christian Garris, Austin Garris, and Noah Garris, and Natasha Keenan; nieces and nephew, Sonia Garris, Fern Garris, and Marcus Garris; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. All who loved her and all of whom she loved. Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 401 Newfield Avenue, Bridgeport.
