JACK ABSTEIN THOMAS, 85, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Ethel Thomas. Jack is survived by his wife Dolly (Rivenbark) of 64 years; sister Carolyn Jones (Johnny) of Fort Pierce; son Larry Atwell (Susan); daughter Linda Warren (Jim); 5 grandchildren Lara Fiorelli, Kristy Polackwich, Lacy Warren, Raymond Atwell & Andrea Alley, and 8 great-grandchildren. Jack was a carpenter, bartender, and a jack of all trades. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed attending the Vero football and baseball games, sitting on the front porch visiting with friends and neighbors. Services will be held at Strunk Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
