THOMAS, John Charles (Jack)Jack died peacefully and naturally on May 16, 2014, at the age of 96 in 100 Mile House, BC. He was born in Bruno, Saskatchewan. When he was young he worked on the farms on the prairies but eventually moved to Vancouver, BC, meeting and marrying Irene Griffin, where he raised 4 boys, John, Larry, Gordon, and Ken. The family lived in Richmond, Langley and in Surrey. In recent years he lived in the Okanagan, and in his last years he moved to 100 Mile House to be closer to family. Jack loved many things, which included dancing, cribbage, and maintaining a keen sense of humor that people admired. He is predeceased by, his sons Gordon of St Catherine's, and Larry of Smithers and granddaughter Tanya, his sisters, Dorothy and Betty, and his brothers, Bob and David. He leaves behind his sons John (Sue) of Grand Forks, Ken (Irene) of 100 Mile House, and his grandchildren Amy, Trevor, and Marcus and sister Lillian of Oliver.
