Mr. Jack H. Thomas, age 76, of Dahlonega, Ga., died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at the Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega.Mr. Thomas was a former resident of Hall County and was of the Methodist faith.He was the son of the late Roy Frank Thomas and Fletery Bell Presley Thomas and was also preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Briggman, and brother, Roscoe Thomas.Jack is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at the Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery in Hall County.The Rev. J.R. Fields will officiate.Mr. Thomas will be available for viewing at Banister Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon.Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
