JENNINGS, JOSEPH DURAIL Jennings, Joseph Durail, age 68 of Trussville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The son of Allen Thomas and Lois Gray Jennings, the talented Mr. Jennings made a living restoring and painting antique cars, working at Raines Brothers for nearly 20 years, and finally went into business for himself, operating Eagle Tire and Car Sale in West End for 27 years. Although a very hard working man, Mr. Jennings was rarely seen without a smile on his face, and was the best father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, boss and husband anyone could ask for. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tommie Lee Jennings; brothers, Allen Gray and William Jackson "Bill" Jennings. Mr. Jennings is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jennings; daughter, Pamela (Billy) Wood of Trussville; grandsons, William Matthew Wood and Justin Morris Wood; granddaughter Summer Elizabeth Wood; great-grandsons, Nikolai, Jeremiah and Skylar Wood; sisters, Annette Underwood and Linda Gilliam; brothers, Robert F. Jennings, Coleman E. Jennings, Charles D. Jennings, Paul L. Jennings and many nieces, nephews and friends. All considered him an absolute blessing in their lives, and all will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with interment at Elmwood Cemetery. >
