JOHN MacIVER 1914 - 2010 (Member of Corinthian Lodge A.F. and A.M. No. 481. G.R.C., Lifetime Member of Newmarket Lions Club and Veteran WWII Major in Ontario Armoured Corps) Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Henderson) and dear father of Bill, Peggy and Jane. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nicole, Kelly, Dallas, Todd, Andrew, Katy, Rachel and seven great- grandchildren. Brother of Agnes, Ronald, Margaret, and the late Mary and Malcolm. Brother-in-law of the late Jean Henderson. John will be sadly missed by his numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church (Main St. and Park Ave.), Newmarket on Friday at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation (Cardiac Care) or Fred Victor Centre would be appreciated.
