Jeanne I. Alley, 78, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away on Christmas Day after a long and brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeanne was born June 20, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from Owensville High School and attended college in Cincinnati. After college, she lived in New York City and was an international flight attendant for TWA. She later worked as a hotelier in Vero Beach, FL. She enjoyed playing bridge, her beloved dogs, following the stock market, fashion, and theatre. She is deeply missed by her "Best Buddy" and constant companion, Rambo. She was predeceased by her beloved father, Edward G. Imbus. She is survived by her son Paul Alley, Sr. (Amy) and two grandchildren, Paul Jr. and Jocelyn; brother, John E. Imbus (Corliss); sister, Mary Jo Smith, and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at The Basilica of St. Paul. Memorial donations may be made to the Halifax Humane Society. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Haigh-Black Funeral Home.
