JACQUES B. CAMPBELL "JACK" "JOCKO" CHESTERTON, IN Jacques "Jack" "Jocko" Bailey Campbell, 76, of Chesterton, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014. He was born September 22, 1937 in Gary, IN to Theodore and Lois (Dingman) Campbell. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was married on January 16, 1970 in Chesterton to Mary Ellen Kusch. Jack was a conductor and retired from the South Shore Railroad. He enjoyed sports and was an IHSAA high school baseball and softball official, NSA and ASA softball official, and basketball referee. He was a member of the American Legion Post 37 in Michigan City, IN. Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Campbell of Chesterton; son, Jacques Campbell II of New Carlisle, IN; daughter, Sharon Hoskison of Plano, TX; brother, Thomas Campbell of Portage; and grandchildren: Bailey, Alex, Aryan and Jackson Campbell and Benton and Lucas Hoskison. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Jerry and William Campbell; and sisters: Donna Tiemann and JoAnn Seaman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of donor's choice.
