LABELLE, Ivan, John - In loving memory of Ivan Labelle, 71 years of Sudbury, who passed away Saturday evening, February 24th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Sturgeon Falls and married Elise (St. Jean) in 1959 in Sudbury. A retired painter Ivan was a Roman Catholic. Ivan lived life to the fullest having many interests including hunting, fishing, camping, playing pool, reading, knitting, picking blueberries, bingo. He was an accomplished musician playing the guitar and writing his own music and lyrics. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan. Ivan was devoted to his loving family. Beloved husband of Elise (St. Jean) Labelle of Sudbury. Loving father of Rudy Labelle and Rheal Labelle both of Sudbury, Angie (partner Wade Carroll) of Wahnapitae. Cherished grandfather of Amy, Devon, Drew, Charlene, Jessica, Sarah, Ariel, Brandon and Lana (Shawn). One great grandchild Taylor Wayne Prossor. Dear son of Polidore and May (Moore) Labelle predeceased. Dear brother of Benita Labelle and Marcel Labelle both of Hamilton, Joanne Berube (husband Rene) of Quebec, Fleurette Legandre (husband Larry) and Nicole Odie (husband Butch) both of Hamilton. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Wednesday, February 28th, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. (Friends may gather in the Chapel after 10:45 a.m. Wednesday). 10557420
