Irene Biggs Baker LAGRANGE, GA-- Mrs. Irene Biggs Baker, 85, died Friday, April 27, at LaGrange Hospice in LaGrange, GA. She had been a resident of Florence Hand Home in the LaGrange for the past 3 years. Mrs. Baker was born in Spartanburg and had lived in LaGrange, GA for the past 4 years. She had been a member of the Vineyard Church of God. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, H. Clell Biggs and Oscar Baker. Mrs. Baker is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Bettie Biggs of LaGrange, GA; two granddaughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Matt (Sarah) Ortner of Greenwood, MS, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin (Charlotte) Mills of Columbus, GA; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Ortner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Sunday, May 6, at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice LaGrange or the Florence Hand Home in LaGrange, GA.
