McKINNON, Ian James - Peacefully on December 30, 2012 at The Princess Margaret Hospital, Christchurch, in his 93rd year. Very dearly loved husband of Hazel for 66 years. Much loved and respected Dad of Joy and Richard Gibson (Palmerston North), Eion and Lois (Geraldine), and Annette Ireton and Michal Gratkowski (Wellington). Dearly loved Grandad of Susanna and Michael Booth (Palmerston North), Roddy and Jane McKinnon (Christchurch), Vanessa and Mark Horsley (Western Australia), Adrienne and Cameron Chatterton (Townsville), Ursula and Chris Togliailua (Townsville), Mitchell Ireton and Kirsty Taylor (Western Australia), Belinda Ireton and Brad Flowerday (Auckland), Phillip (PJ), and Libby Ireton (Timaru). Loved great-grandad of Briar, Bella, and Ruby Booth; Emanuela, Indiana, and Fergus McKinnon; and Tahlia Chatterton. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Gordon and Irene McKinnon (Timaru), the late Ina McKinnon, and Margaret Lewis. A loved uncle and great uncle to his nieces and nephews.
