PARK Idella Park of Yorkton Sk. passed away peacefully on February 22, 2012 at the remarkable age of 89 years. Idella was born on July 3, 1922, the only daughter of Herb and Margaret Thomas of Yorkton, Sask. In 1954 Idella married Jack Large. Following Jack's death in 1974, Idella continued to reside in Yorkton. In 1987 Idella married Earle Park and they spent many wonderful retirement years travelling and instructing dance. Idella was predeceased by her parents, her only brother John Lewis Thomas (1926), by her husbands Jack Large and Earle Park (2005). She is survived by Earle's children Jack and Bevelyn Park of Calgary, (Sean and Sandrine Park and family of Geneva Switzerland, Jason and Marie-Claude Park and family of Toronto), Dawna Park and Gary Laurence (Parker Laurence) of Saskatoon; and by the Norman family, Helen Norman of Yorkton, (Doug and Dianne Norman of Yorkton, Audrey and Ron Sereda and family of Saskatoon, Don and Kari Norman and family of Regina, Ken and Karen Norman of Yorkton, and Susan and John Mandziuk and family of Yorkton); by Bob and Cheryl Norman and family of Saskatoon, Marjorie and Bernie Wlock and family of Yorkton; and by Susan and Scott Brooker and family of Calgary. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Andrew's United Church in Yorkton. Interment to follow in the Yorkton City Cemetery.
