WILLIAMS,HUBERT RAY, 68Williston - Hubert Ray Williams age 68 of Williston, FL passed away on May 1, 2010. He was born on August 24, 1941 in Atlanta, GA to Lonnie and Myrtice Williams. He has lived in Williston, FL since 1973 moving here from Vero Beach, FL. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, FL. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He was an electrician and owned and operated Williams Electric; he also was a former employee of Lowell Correctional Institute and retired in 2008. He was a member of the Florida Association of Electrical Contractors. He was a charter member of the Williston Little League, Williston High School Booster Club, Williston High School Band Boosters and he was very involved with the girl's softball at Williston High School. He is survived by his mother Myrtice Williams; wife of 47 years Pat Williams; son Mike Williams (Jacqui); daughter Colleen Yarbrough (Robbie); brother David Williams (Judy); sister Theresa McFarland (Bill); son-in-law Martin Planas; grandchildren Schuyler, Rebecca, Karsyn, Ryan and Angelina. He was preceded in death by a daughter Ann Williams Planas. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Knauff Funeral Home-Williston. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Chapel of Knauff Funeral Home-Williston with Father Rodolfo Godinez officiating.
