<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Reid, Howard Daniel "Danny", Age 59 of Mount Olive, Alabama passed away on April 12, 2014. In memory of a man who had many great gifts, with those he loved he tried to uplift. He was swift to smile and swift to play. He walked with his Lord in his own special way. I can see him now in the bright shining land with his son, his mother, and his outstretched hand. Saying I'm happy now, no more pain, no more grief. And we will see him soon when it's our turn to leave. A Navy Veteran, who proudly served his country on the USS America. He is preceded in death by his son Phillip and his mother Mary Ann. Danny was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Deb, his daughters Kristy and Patty, a granddaughter Lacey and great granddaughter Emma, father Howard, a sister Elizabeth, brothers David and Michael and a host of nieces and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th from 5 until 8 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with chapel funeral services on Wednesday beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
