Henry Benjamin Parsons, age 57, of 280 S. Lake Forest Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at the Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood. He was born in Woodruff, and was a son of Virginia Harlan Parsons of Lanford and the late C.B. Parsons. Mr. Parsons was retired from Byars Machine Shop, was a former contractor with Parsons Brothers Contractors, and was a member of the Enoree Masonic Lodge #222. He was a member of the Lanford Baptist Church and attended the Cross Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jean Tumblin Parsons of the home; his mother, Virginia Harlan Parsons of Lanford; two sons, Henry Jason Parsons and companion Pam Davis, of Lanford, and Shannon Benjamin Parsons and his wife, Andrea, of Chappells; a daughter, Hollie Parsons Davenport and her husband, Wilton Davenport III, of Laurens; a sister, Dianne Parsons Simmons and her husband, Chuck, of Lanford; and four grandchildren, Alexus Savannah Davenport, Benjamin Jacob Parsons, AudreyAnna Blanche Davenport and Tyler Scott Davis. Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Lanford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the Social Hall of the church following the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646; or to the Cross Hill Baptist Church Sound System Fund, Main St., Cross Hill, SC 29332. The family will be at the home: 280 S.
