Retire Truck Driver - Kimberly Clark Co. APPLING, Ga. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Henry Frank Parks of Tubman Road, Appling. Funeral services will be conducted (today) Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 5129 Double Branches Road, Lincolnton, with Reverend George M. Glenn officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 1:00 p.m.. Mr. Parks was native of Columbia County, Georgia and a faithful member of Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He was formerly employed with Murray Biscuit Company and retired from Kimberly Clark as a truck driver. Mr. Parks was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served his country dutifully and was honorable discharge. Survivors are a loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Mattie Belle Garnett Parks, Appling, GA; four daughters, Teresa (Roger) Bryson, Appling, GA, Cynthia (Thomas) Luna, Grovetown, GA and Melissa (Jaime) Llinas and Tonya Parks, Appling, GA; two sons, Henry Lester (Jackie) Parks, Evans, GA and Jeffery (Cheryl) Parks, Grovetown, GA; one stepson, Clarence Garnett, Appling, GA; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Willie Mae Johnson, Odgen, UT; a best friend, J.
